The nativity scene is in place in the village and looks lovely......
We have tickets for a concert at the church tomorrow night with mandatory masks and social distancing but thought we had better check that it is still taking place. It has been cancelled. We are so disappointed 😞 as its the only thing we have been able to book to look forward to. I went inside the church and lit a candle for our parents who are no longer with us but always spent every Christmas with us over the years. We still miss them....
Stay safe everyone wherever in the world you happen to be x
I notice that one of the parish churches near here is advertising that their carol concert will be held outside now. I do hope the weather is kind
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed Angela. So much effort goes into planning these events.
DeleteSo many things I have read lately that have been cancelled. The church nativity is lovely.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
So many things cancelled what a shame. It is going to be another Christmas of church services and carol services on the television isn't it.
ReplyDeleteI feel for all the small businesses that are once again having to find ways to keep afloat for as long as they can.
I agree about the small businesses Sue. They are going to be struggling again and many more will go out of business before this comes to an end. The government are now debating a two week 'circuit breaker' after Christmas so hospitality will suffer yet again.
DeleteTV carol services it is then.....
