A New Me!

I had my hair washed, cut and blow dried this morning.  It's the best £19 I have spent in a long time πŸ‘πŸ˜Š I feel half a stone lighter😁

I am so pleased to see that we have some more tomatoes ripening on the plants in the garden.  These ones are called Sungold and are sweet with tender skins......

At the allotment we have a glut of broad beans at the moment.  Because of the failure of the ones last year, G over compensated by sowing far too many so I have been delivering bags of them to family, friends and neighbours alike .  The freezer is also stuffed to the gills with them!  Any suggestions for broad bean inclusive recipes anyone? ;)

Stat safe everyone.  Have a great weekend x

  1. I seem to remember that we used to suffer with blackfly on our broad beans when we had our allotment, you obviously didn't. I really miss our allotment we loved it to bits but age got the better of us, lol

    1. We had terrible blackfly last year but this time G pinched out the tops in time to deter them. The crop has been amazing. Yes, Briony, it's very hard work!

  2. Isn't it wonderful to get rid of the build up of hair. I want to get another cut in about two weeks.

    God bless.

    1. Indeed it is, Jackie, I felt quite liberated walking out of the salon. It was lovely talking to another human being too!

  8. Nice to hear the great news about the haircut and luckily we have been able to go twice in the past 4 months as salons and barbershops were able to reopen with restrictions. We both only got haircuts, no blow dry or any other services. It was a good feeling, I agree, and yours looked very nice from what was visible in the photo.

  9. Your hair looks great! Congratulations on all of the beans. How exciting. I just had some with butter and fresh garlic for lunch. Homegrown tomatoes are the best! I love them on a tortilla with Tillamook cheddar cheese. Yum!
