"You have been in close contact with someone with confirmed corona infection, please self isolate and contact your local health advisor". All anonymous and secure, no need to actually do anything else that load it from the app store.Ulvmorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14475774550471643902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-170481308375173858.post-20807984327348188862020-10-12T20:15:50.371+01:002020-10-12T20:15:50.371+01:00They are extremely odd, aren't they...They are extremely odd, aren't they...Pensive Pensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16753467730053378848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-170481308375173858.post-51931048860744548612020-10-11T19:18:15.553+01:002020-10-11T19:18:15.553+01:00That looks like a lovely box. I hope you enjoy your meal out with family. That's interesting that you can eat in a restaurant, but not in your home. I find all these rules very odd... I will leave it on my phone as it rather handily gives you all the 'rules' for your area and as I have relatives in 3 of the UK countries and usually move myself between two of them it's handy for reference as to what I should be doing.

The afternoon tea box looks brilliant. Imagine what it would cost you for afternoon tea for two or four people if you went out for it. What a lovely treat, although I think I would have preferred brown bread.Sue https://www.blogger.com/profile/04947919568474743963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-170481308375173858.post-75969059253797397962020-10-11T09:01:05.254+01:002020-10-11T09:01:05.254+01:00I've not done the NHS app, my phone is a smart...I've not done the NHS app, my phone is a smart phone but a cheap one so doesn't like apps.
I'm not bothered and think it's a huge waste of money. One of the ladies in a WI signed up to work at test and trace and is being paid for sitting at home refreshing her laptop every 10 minutes with no positives to trace for weeks on end.
Sue in Suffolkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13166036914348424622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-170481308375173858.post-46610952587720437722020-10-10T20:26:34.155+01:002020-10-10T20:26:34.155+01:00I haven't downloaded it. It irks me that it has been named the 'NHS app' when it is nothing to do with the NHS, and is run, badly, by a private company at a cost of 15 billion pounds... most of which can't be accounted for, and is headed up by Matt Hancock's mate who is married to a Tory peer. Corruption abounds, as does the incompetence.
My daughter was contacted by track and trace after a former colleague tested positive. The service was shambolic, giving her 2 different dates to isolate from, including the day that they rang her, rather than the last time she had been in contact with him which was 7 days earlier. They contacted her by text, she completed all her details as requested, then they contacted her by phone, saying the systems were different, so they didnt know her details had been completed!
I leave my details if I visit anywhere, and I know that the risk is high in my area as we've been in local lockdown for around 10 weeks, with pubs, cafes, restaurants set to close again, not that we've been able to meet anyone outside our household in one anyway.
I can see no end to it; the incompetence is criminal.Scarlethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01729719876504930455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-170481308375173858.post-79368305796353481332020-10-10T20:25:05.037+01:002020-10-10T20:25:05.037+01:00The afternoon tea box is a great idea for a treat ...The afternoon tea box is a great idea for a treat and as you say the extra cost is negligible compared to saving you going out.
